Ritec Valley, Pembrokeshire

What causes Trefloyne to flood?

The road runs alongside the marsh with rising ground on the other side. Puddles are common after rain and can spread across the road, but they're rarely deep enough to cause a problem unless the river is also high. When the river does rise, it's a different situation entirely. Water can cover the full length of the road across the marsh and the edges become hard to make out.
